Coding Endeavors [WIP]

lostSHADE

Basic template, which isn't quite done. Hence "WIP".

I wanted to put two images on the side of the main content box like in the draft , but I haven't figured out how to do that just yet...I'm still new to this.

Only tested this on Chrome and FF. I'm sure it looks like crap on IE.

Welp, night for now.

Hmmm.. I don't know if you're looking for suggestions, and my own experience is simple at best, so I don't know how reliable the technique is or if it's super breakable by expanding/shrinking the window, but there are codes that allow you to add images that float in specific places, say, one on either side of your table, like you mentioned. Otherwise I would try to use a table, but I know a lot of professional website designers would bite at my head for that, haha.

      I'm open to them!
The current set up of this code is constructed with < divs > and not a table, so I might not be able to do that unless I remake everything. @.@

And yeahhhhh, I can see why. Tables are a bit messier than divs, code-wise. However, divs don't 'feel' as ridged as tables. And I don't think you can but a table in a table. I could be wrong.

You can put tables within tables, but tables in general are frowned upon in the coding world because the width and height variables can be confusing and can screw with the other sizes of everything else. Among other things, I'm sure, of which I'm not aware. xD I only use them because I don't know any better. There's some information about absolute positioning in CSS, maybe it can help?
