A dog warrior sworn to the fortress of Batterhold, Remmington Altros is a pious, stalwart soldier. He is a fanatic worshiper of Shylara, the Bladed Angel, who is said to have bestowed knowledge of blade-craft to the world. He is haunted by the murders of his former magician mentor, the Pain Painter, a dark sorcerer disguised as a jester, and as such harbors a deep hatred of dark magic and all who practice it. He has taken the angel Shylara's prayer as his own personal motto, and has inscribed his armor and axe with it:

"No matter what blades we use, they are blessed by an angel, and that is stronger than any magic."

During his travels, he is witness to the return of the Dark Lord Fenrir Stormclaw, who threatens to consume the world in eternal darkness. Driven by his hatred of evil, Remmington is a resolute ally against the growing shadow...
