Bloodroot by Lone Companion

Bloodroot

Lone Companion

Pretty sure this is a Bloodroot. I didn't break any of these to check for the orange sap since they are just coming up and are flowering. I think I can see the orange in the veins one the leaf and probably also what's giving the stem that color.
You can paint/write with the sap in these, which is vibrant. However, I hear it is poisonous, though I don't know how severe. I've had it on my skin several times and it didn't break me out.

Photo from today April 18
Taken near where my teepee used to be, in the area I am now calling the "Haunted Woods."
Some other notable plants are locust trees (spikey), briars (red-brownish, and some purple), and grape vines.
This area has a lot of groundhog holes and they tend to dig up sandstone. Area is on a hill slope with a valley at bottom. This is the area where my Fear Bear dream partly took place, though there was a cliff in the dream, that does not exist in Reality.
