Short explanation behind this one. GISHWHES is a crazy international scavenger hunt that is "go do" rather than "go find". Some of the items are doing-good-things sort of tasks, others are really odd art challenges.

This particular hunt item was really, really open-ended. It simply called for "a novel life form", depicted in a photo or video. I uh...kind of got carried away. I made the doll from scratch and the whole intent was to make it something unsettling. The face was a resin sasquatch face cast from an old project that never went anywhere. I sculpted the feet from Sculpey. He's built with a wire armature so he could be posed.
