Satya is my favourite OvW character and I cannot even begin to tell you all the little backstory ideas I have for her in this AU, despite telling myself not to develop this into a story ID;;;

Taken from her clan as a hatchling for her unique abilities, Symmetra was raised by Vishkar to look human, act human and shed the most obvious gargoyle traits (they even tampered with her wings to stop her from learning how to fly); to be a gargoyle is to be an unnatural beast of disorder and anarchy, and she should be grateful that Vishkar saw her potential to serve for the betterment of humankind and continuously help her keep her biological instincts at bay.

When Symmetra leaves Vishkar, her horns, spikes, claws, etc. start growing back and she begins to learn the truth about herself and her kind.
