What is fursuit spray?
My fursuit spray is an alcohol-based fragrance spray designed to kill surface germs on your fursuit and make it smell wonderful in between washings! It can also be used as a room freshener.

How do I use fursuit spray?
To use, simply spray it on your costume at a distance of 6-8 inches away. Allow the alcohol to evaporate after about 15 seconds, then sniff. Smellin’ good there, buddy! Different scents are stronger than others. I like to spray my fursuit about three times, your preferences may differ. Fursuit spray is not a substitute for washing your fursuit.

Will it damage my fursuit?
Fursuit spray is safe for the grand majority of fursuits. Fursuits with alcohol-based ink on them (Sharpie, Prismacolor marker, certain airbrush inks) risk having the colors run. Most fursuit airbrushing these days is done with acrylic inks, which are safe to use in conjunction with fursuit spray. If you’re not certain, ask whomever made your fursuit or do a spot test somewhere inconspicuous first.

Are these hypo-allergenic?
Most of my fursuit spray is made with synthetic fragrance oil. Other scents of ours are made from essential oils. Each type of scent is labelled as such, since some people are allergic to synthetics but not natural oils- or vice versa. If you need help choosing a spray’s right for you, feel free to ask!

How do I buy your fursuit spray?
LobitaWorks fursuit spray is sold on our Etsy (https://www.etsy.com/shop/LobitaWorks) and at conventions. We restock the shop every month or so- no particular schedule. I announce beforehand when the sale will be, so you can be ready to snag your favorites. I do small batches, so stock can sell out pretty quick, especially if it’s a new scent.

Why won’t you ship to my country?
We regret that we are limited by postal regulations in that we are unable to ship fursuit spray outside the US, with no exceptions. If I had it my way I would ship all over the world, but them’s the breaks I guess. If someone you know in the US wants to middleman for you, that is fine.

What cons are you selling at?
Our convention lineup for 2016: Furry Weekend Atlanta in March and Megaplex in August. I have tester bottles at cons you can use to try before you buy AND you won’t have to pay shipping! So be sure to stop by our table and see what we have to offer.

How do you choose what characters end up on the labels?
When I am designing a new scent, I usually put out an open call for characters on my Twitter, lobitaworks. Keep an eye on my Twitter feed for these posts if that’s something that interests you!

Can I suggest a fragrance I want you guys to make?
I am always open to suggestions, and I do make a note of common requests.

Do you offer custom commissions for fursuit spray?
I recently ran an auction for a custom run of fursuit spray where the winner chooses a scent and provides a character for me to draw. It was fun to do this and went really smoothly, so I would definitely love to do this again sometime!
