Sorry for the late reply! I'm so bad with checking this site. Emofuri is hard to use in that it's all in Japanese with no translations available in the program itself. You need to read tutorials based on the program but luckily there are a lot available on tumblr if you just search emofuri and tutorials. The most time consuming part is making the character images, as you need one separate layer for each part that animates independently- that and all the layer names need to be specifically in Japanese. My work around for that was to use the template and simply replace the images in the layers with my own hand drawn ones- all of the layers were done in SAI and just saved as another PSD so I didn't overwrite the actual file.

It's a process in short, but the end results are cool. There are template animations so you don't really need to mess around with the animating side too much. Hopefully they will come out with an English translated version soon so it will be easier to understand!
