Narae ihrn Daen [nar-AY URN DAY-en] translates literally as Word of God from Naeren, the language of the birdfolk. The term is not applied to scriptures dictating the words of the gods, but rather a select group of beings with carry their will on earth. the Narae ihrn Daen (otherwise known as the Narae) are similar to, but a separate group from Angels. Narae are born to the world from mortal parents which, may or may not, be human. Upon birth, they are sought out by others of their kind and raised to learn and spread the words of the divine. Some may attain a Sigil as they age, depending on the strength of their magic. Most often the Sigil will simply read the word of god Daen.

The Narae are a secretive race, not much else is known about them. They are not known to speak, but possess the intelligence to read and write. Some cultures see them as bringers of luck and good fortune, others see them as harbingers of the god's wrath.
