Tartar (in the left) and his little royal friend, Xinju. Normally she is a human, she also was a queen of her own kingdom once, but her crown was stolen when the south mages put a spell on her, so she turned into ruan.
In this picture, you can see Tartar, arkian man, helping Xinju to pass the magical forest peacefully. Both of them have special amulets, but it is not 100% helpful when you face a big feathered shadow-creatures in there, this one looks pretty dangerous. Still, Tartar is a great bodyguard and warrior. He can handle it.
