If your holidays are anything like mine, there's maybe greenbeans. That've been cooked with bacon. Veggies are like unicorns when my fam cooks. D8
I always keep a medium sized plastic container full of peeled carrots cut in half for guilt free light snacking on standby for those days when I'm otherwise out of fruits. It also makes it less time consuming if I want diced carrots with dinner. Yams are also another vegetable you can safely add sugar to that go well as part of a holiday meal, or any meal, really.
