A story for a Winter's night.

Tall tales, friends, and strange things that go bump in the night.

My own attempt at a story like "The Sheppard" by Frederick Forsyth, after listening to it on the radio. I started this in 2012, which was the 34th year that the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation show "As It Happens" had their telling of the tale on the last show before Christmas. "The Sheppard" is best listened to in a dark, quiet room on a winter night - which is perhaps where my story should be read too.
