“Emergency, emergency—there is an intruder in the kingdom. Open the gates! I must inform the king!” Kamek Koopa, the highest ranking magikoopa wizard bellowed as he wobbled through the air in a panic over the stone walkway to a large jaggedly built castle. The bristles on his broom had been caught aflame as he tumbled uncontrollably in the sky, a smoke trail behind him. Half way towards the castle a blue fireball shot through the air and hit his backside, sending him into a nosedive as his body bounced off of the granite underneath him.

“Ugh, inform—the king! An exile—has returned!” Kamek coughed out as he planted his face flat into the ground.
Kammy Koopa, the king’s right hand magikoopa assistant looked out of one the large windows of the castle, her jaw dropped as she flew down the hall past goomba guards toward two large red doors.

“Sire, it’s me Kammy!” She said as the doors pushed open to let her slide inside.

“Your majesty, the exile has returned! He’s heading right for the—Sire? Where did the king go?” Kammy yelled back towards the guards.

“He’s already heading towards the front entrance, Miss Kammy!”

“What!”

The large wooden drawbridge shook and began to lower as the chains holding it up rattled until the thick wood slammed into the stone below. Then the ground began to slowly quake causing the goombas and koopa troops lining the balconies of the castle to bounce and stumbled around as a large figure stomped out over the lowered drawbridge. Thud after thud, his feet sunk into the ground as thick yellowish, scaly legs dropped down and grinded sharp claws into the rocky pathway. Finally he stopped, smoke seeping out of his nose as he flashed his teeth and let out a deep growl.

“I thought I told you—to never come back …”

His red eyes glared forward at the almost equally large koopa staring right in his face, his fangs grinded back and forth in his mouth as he snarled at the king of all koopas.

“You know good and well why I came back, Bowser,” the large koopa roared out right into the king’s face.

The Koopa King snorted as red flames sparked from his nostrils.

“You’ll regret showing your face to me again—
