This is Dark Wolf, a talented percussionist and superhero with a depressing backstory, but a happy ending. Here is the bio on him:

Dark Wolf Bio (Updated)

Species: Black wolf
Alternate name: he has requested not to reveal it
Nationality: American (by Earth's terms), Eternan (in reality)
Nicknames: none known
Age immortalized by CNG: not known
Occupation: currently unemployed apart from being a drummer on the musical payroll system; the marching band he plays in is composed entirely of black wolves

UPDATE: He became the drum major of said marching band, Black Wolf Troop 222, upon the passing of the original drum major.

Original hometown: somewhere in his own world destroyed by the heartless creatures, and later in Zanta’s world once Cripto freed him
Current hometown: Wildcat City, Kansas, USA
Battle uniform: Supercostume of silver and black, with silver boots, cape, mask, gloves, and belt. In the center of his chest there is a picture of a wolf howling at the moon.
Alternate clothing: Typical street clothes
Other appearance notes: He has yellow eyes.
Background info: Dark Wolf is the proud father of Butch, one of Zanta’s D-19 agent-officers of light that took the same class at the academy as Cripto. His original world was destroyed by the heartless, and while he saved a few lives, he regretted he couldn’t save everybody, and he wept for it ever since, allowing himself to weep forever in darkness—that is, until Cripto voluntarily entered the darkness and rescued him from the scene. He reappeared at the infirmary of the academy awake, and in tears, so naturally, he and Butch hugged one another. Later, when Super C added him as an ally, the Cat of Steel gave him some time off to recover, and during that time, he used the donations people gladly gave him (including the huge $100 trillion from Cripto) to build the G-52s their secret base. Leo the Tiger and his military band also helped cheer up Dark Wolf and get over his failure syndrome, and Super C reinforced it with the G-52 policy.

He often appears intimidating because of his fierce appearance and his yellow eyes, but he never means to be intimidating to anyone but the enemy.

While his son was at one point roommates with Cripto, along with Zexal (another classmate of Cripto’s), he moved out so he could reunite with his dad. (Zexal continued to live with Cripto as roommates for a time but also moved out so he could go to a different part of Wildcat City according to where Sir Mortan stationed him.)

Dark Wolf has since been grateful to Cripto for rescuing him, and has received $50,000 in gold and the gold medal for becoming Krypton Factor Champion 2012. Note that like the original show, he was given a choice of either the gold or a cash substitute, but he chose to keep the gold.

Superpowers: Super speed, super strength, high jump, and shadow manipulation.
Arch-nemesis: Bendraqi and the Devils today; the heartless originally. Other villains include various terrorists that would strike in between Bendraqi's death and resurrection.
Personal quote: “I’ve had a rough past I do not wish to talk about, but I have Cripto to thank for bailing me out of it, and all the G-52s for believing in me and helping to see that I am not a failure, and the marching band that Leo the Tiger leads—I know he has 3 bands but I thank whichever one he had at the time—for helping me to cheer up as well. I think winning ‘The Krypton Factor’ has boosted my confidence to a whole new level in more ways than one, and I chose to do this to prove to myself and my son, Butch, that I’ve had a crisis and I’ve overcome it with flying colors. As the newest G-52, I shall promise to all of you I shall do my very best in the fight against evil, but at the same time, please don’t be scared of me, because I never want to be intimidating to my friends; just the enemy.” (excerpt from his victory speech)
Catchphrase: “Look to the shadows to find the light of justice.”
Krypton Factor result: Group D champion with a Krypton Factor of 51; series champion with a Krypton Factor of 56, winning in a tiebreaker against Captain Outback
Best Krypton Factor phase: Mental agility, physical ability
