Meet Tleyotl, a jaguar from central Mexico in the Prehispanic era. He is the father of Coatl, my other jaguar character (and my current fursona). Tleyotl is strong in character and physique, he can put down even a big alligator if the need calls for it. He also is very territorial and keeps other jaguars from ever entering his hunting grounds. As aggressive as he is, he can otherwise have a kind heart towards the young.

I've been wanting to draw this character for a long while, but I just wasn't satisfied with my previous efforts. I decided to drive away from the "Lion King" style and take a more realistic approach, considering jaguars have more rounded features than lions, and that I wanted to create my own style departing from their real anatomy. Now at last I'm very happy with the result :D
