Oh yeah, he got em. A birthday present for gloomwolf who has been one of the coolest creatures to me. Dijon's one of those characters I am just crazy about. He's such a good design & way fun the way he draws him. Taco Bell is the most coziest of comfort foods to me & just a walk late at night to get Taco Bell absolutely been a birthday party to me. Cool to get to feel that sorta chill attitude for ordinary things has the energy matched in another. Used an ancient photo of mine from when I believe I did just that, we got new shopping carts & it was cold as butts out & I volunteered like a sucker to help get all the old carts out & the new ones brought in. Afterwards I went to taco bell alone & had to walk home cos the buses weren't running anymore. One of those weird hard nights that fill ya with a sense of pride & soreness & feeling ready for anything. This piece was also a great time in learning how to photo manipulate a bit better, overlaying textures, distorting, filtering, all that stuff that comes in the "lever cranking" of layers & such that comes after slapping down the flat colors & what not. I keep refering to it as the "painting" or "post processing" phase but honestly it's just a load of malarky. Editing maybe? Who knows.
