The embarrassment shield is a term I use when I watch embarrassing material on Youtube. When watching children's shows, or idol shows, like the ones listed, I can only watch them for a limited amount of time before my shield grows weak and must recharge, which is best done by watching something like MAD TV sketches. When the volume is mute, my shield almost never weakens. When it's on, however, it breaks almost instantly. When it's completely gone, my heart rate increases and my pelenka is moistened. And heres a little secret, Sooty Show no longer weakens it, if you know what I mean.
