Following the little incident on the roof, Nixie made Parker take a shower to clean himself off and not catch a cold. She waited outside the bathroom for him to finish. She was relieved he was back to normal again, she couldn’t bare to hurt her own son.

Nixie wished she was a dragon, so that she could have been the true mother of her beloved twin dragons. This thought made her remember how she first found the two baby dragons. She found them unconscious inside an old mansion. She was amazed by how intelligent they were, but they don’t remember where they came from, only their names, Leon and Parker.

Parker came out of the bathroom, wrapped in a towel. He looked over at Nixie, seeing her zoned out. He dropped the towel and slipped on a fresh pair of pull ups. Nixie finally snapped back to reality and nuzzled her son. She set him in the bed before dropping her robe. She climbed into bed with him and pulled the thick blanket over them both.

Parker was initially comfortable, but he then remembered the Nightmares he had. Due to the shock he got when waking up from one, he tried his best not to fall asleep, not wanting to experience it again.
