This police use SMG was based heavily on the more popular Thompson SMG from World War 2 that is in virtually every single WW2 video game in the world. The Ingram, however, was only seen in a single episode of the A-Team. Lucien is wondering why he's even holding this gun, since he could easily buy a real Thompson.
