Please note that this message is meant ONLY for commissioners who have been on the waiting list in Leelee's queue for some time(such as a year or more).

First of all we can not CONTINUE to apologize enough for the long, long, in some cases (more than we'd like) inexcusably long time it has taken Leelee to finish commissions or even start on them. He is undeniably at fault for this. He's made many mistakes in his younger years when he started out, and we are working very, VERY hard to rectify these mistakes and improve his reputation now.
A lot of you have been generous enough to be enormously patient and even keep up with his journal updates about his anxiety and depression and have been understanding of how this has interfered with his work, especially in the earlier years before he had a support system to check in on him and keep him on task. I want to make it perfectly clear I am not making excuses for Leelee's behaviour - I and he both understand that his behaviour has been unprofessional, at times rude, and his lack of consistent communication with clients is unacceptable.
Now that I am taking over his communication this problem will be ground to dust, and I promise all of you a much improved working relationship with Leelee in the future. He is working on his backlog as consistently as he is working new commissions. We are making steady progress to get people who have patiently waited in his queue, some of them for YEARS, their finished products in as timely a manner as possible now that we're on this new system.

It is at this time I have an unfortunate announcement to make, which is that as we have made progress on the backlog, we have had multiple clients back out of their payments once their product was finished. We understand this is our fault on ACCOUNT of taking too long and simply not providing proper courtesy in multiple transactions.
However, now that Leelee is digging hard into the backlog, we simply can't afford to spend time on commissions and complete them only to be told that the commissioner no longer wants the item, or simply does not have money. Because of these repeated occurrences, we are forced to start asking those in the long-term queue who have not paid for their merchandise to pay up front for their commissions. Leelee will continue to work on the backlog with current commissions, and any of you that desire additional progress updates, daily, weekly, however, please feel free to contact me through my personal email, and I will check with Leelee every day on your commission's progress in the queue.
For those of you that view this as unacceptable, again, I understand. If you would find this reason to take your business elsewhere, we understand. That is your decision, your money, and your time - and we don't want you to feel like we're wasting your money or your time on something you don't feel you can trust. Leelee, again, has made repeatable mistakes in the past. If you feel you do not trust him to come through with the new system, we understand. Your order will be removed from the queue if you request so.
For those who disagree with this change in policy, but still desire to keep their commission request in the queue, again, I understand. That will be fine. But for those in the backlog willing to offer the payments up front, their commissions will have to take priority.

If this seems unfair, even outrageous - we realize that. Leelee has proved untrustworthy with multiple customers in the past, especially in communication. But we are working to change that, and to do so we need to establish a stable system. We simply can not INVEST time into projects only to be told they simply don't like it, and leave, or they don't want it anymore, or they just don't have the money now. It is unfair to current customers and it is unfair to those who have been waiting in the queue that do fully intend to pay Leelee for his work for Leelee to spend time on projects that amount to nothing when he could be working on commissions that those patient customers are waiting for and have been waiting for.

Any emails sent to Leelee's private email will be answered by me. We thank those of you who understand who have had generously maintained faith in Leelee for so long. We understand those of you who may see this as the last straw and apologize deeply for having damaged our professional relationship with you. We hope that, ultimately, in time, Leelee will make a comeback that everyone - he, and his customers - all deserve.
