Julius the Monophinx, first of a line of Adopts I plan on doing, though he is going to be a personal one. Unless I decide otherwise.

Monophinx are a relative of Sphinx's and Dragons.

They guard treasure hoards, though the type of hoard they guard is considered possibly precious only to the Monophinx that guards it. As they will guard anything from precious stones to hoards of stuffed animals, sweets are even a possible hoard item. The Monophinx has all normal auditory senses, however, they if they need to carry on a conversation, will speak through the mouth on their tail. Why this is so hasn't yet been discovered by the common belief is that they possess no vocal chords in their throat.

They can live in a variety of environments and come in an array of colors. Rumor has it that there are rarer subspecies of Monophinx but they have yet to be seen.
