Run cycle version 2, now with extra WINGS!
Boy, those were a pain in the rump. And even after like an hour and a half of fiddling with them, they still look wrong.

Good point. And the bottom of the downstroke would only cover one or two frames, so maybe that's what I'll fix on the next go-over.

I think maybe part of the issue is that they are not quite going down far enough. I know you did not want to obscure your body, but after watching it further it feels like that might be what feels so 'off' about it. You are doing 4/5 of a flap per run cycle.
