The dark tabby tom lay in a pool of his own blood, knowing that he was dieing. He had no regrets though he had fatally wounded the beast that had killed him and it would not be able to get to his family. All his kits were grown, he could go to his mate in star clan and finally complete again. He could her his children voices in the air but he felt it would be far to late by the time they found him. Cold seeped though his once vibrant coat causing him to shudder. He looked up when he saw a light and smile, tears coming to his eyes. "I...I'm cominging...Ginger...Gingerpelt." The light in his eye dimmed as the once great warrior took his final breath and went limp.

This is going to be part of the story as it will continue on until their happy ever after because im a sap :3 Sorry for this spoiler allthrough it still doesn't really tell how he died. Note I didn't say what killed him, i'm not going to release that info yet >D Anyway i used blood brushes by KeReN-R
