This is done as an experiment with a more rough and expressive style that I have seen certain concept artists do. I think it turned out pretty well, though I could definitely afford to go rougher!

This is a sketch of one of my characters Sukhavati ' Veera' Lakshmibai. She is an Indian Fox/Malabar Giant Squirrel mercenary. I decided to give her a little bit of a redesign where she gained a new hairdo, a new crotch-plate, and armor plates all over her leg. A bigger back-mounted shield and large khopesh is just a part of the typical equipment upgrade path she has.
