A collaboration with my soulmate Kali/Scythe! She did the lineart, I did the colors.

As much as we wanted to call this guy BFU the Gaudy Gay Sea Dragon with Fabulous Fins, we plan on making him into another one of our dragon species for our worldbuilding projects. The tentative name right now is mockshell sea dragon! I imagine this is a shallow-dwelling marine dragon that occasionally comes ashore, perhaps for breeding. The markings and color scheme were based off the shells of lightning and knobbed whelks! Sea shell colors are so fun to work with for how quiet and organic, yet beautiful they can be.
