One of my original dragon species! These guys are sort of a mashup of several cetaceans, but beaked whales were the strongest influence and the color scheme was based off the southern right whale dolphin.

Kali proposed the idea of naming the species after a notable dracologist in our original story, not unlike how some real life species are named for scientists and other people. I loved this idea so we took it and ran with it! These guys are named for Jahan Attar, a senior dragon researcher. We even carried that into the scientific name for the species because we’re colossal nerds.
