That last picture got me thinking. If you guys have noticed, I tend to draw legs and paws a bit on the thick side. Sure, it works for the large dogs and other animals, but for the more slender breeds, not so much. So I wanted to do some sketches of some different breeds so I can try to understand their anatomy a bit more. Especially if I'm going to be doing them often.

First up is the Saluki, which Dixie and Rita (?) are classified as. Tried making it look like s/he was running, but it sort of turned into a moment just before touching the ground with the forelegs during a run/sprint. Probably should've started a bit closer to the right of the paper.

Not sure if I want to color this or not. Probably not, since the idea is just to learn more about the body.

Any critique would be greatly appreciated.
