Ori Hadar - 2013 Final

KronoGarrett

Ori Hadar

Blue Dragon (anthropomorphic, wingless)

Height: 6'2"

Weight: Something north of 250 lbs due to barrel-like torso and heavy limbs. May actually weigh as much as Tankaa due to greater tissue density. Not to mention that even his tail probably weighs as much as another leg.

Likes: Sunny afternoons, thunderstorms, flying, cleaning things, robusting

Dislikes: Water, Balloon Bots, smokers, tyrannosaurs, Schaft Security System, being mistaken for a Shiny Nidoking that had a teleportation mishap.

Image Song: "Blue Colour Worker" - Yukihiro Takahashi ( http://youtu.be/\_JO\_WOjzegQ )

Ori Hadar was one of the many children of Dunestrider born into a human family. Tiamat's call never quite reached him, as selfish as he might have been at the time. In the following years he helped act to save a world from the instrumentality plot of a mad alchemist named Sigfried and ascended to the lower demigod ranks. This didn't last, for when he tired of serving as the celestial errand boy to the higher gods, he expended his divine energies to travel the multiverse in search of new experiences.

Eventually, this led to his involvement with the mercenary company Borusa's Barbarians and the hapless Commander Kumawani. Due to the Captain's increasing BTL chip addiction and failure to take on missions to keep the company in the black, Corporal Hadar and much of the lower crew became little more than glorified space janitors, while Tankaa desperately tried to keep the lights on and life support running. Between the irregular pay, a few disturbingly exploitative requests, and an backfired attempt to deflect future pranks, both Ori and Tankaa would end up resigning their posts and boarding the next Grayhand Stellarcruiser for a less troublesome destination, the starport of Black Rock.

Ori continued to take on independent missions in the multiverse while Tankaa attempted to set things up on Black Rock. Ori has returned to check up on his unlucky friend on a regular basis, especially after Tankaa was murdered by a corrupt security officer who was temporarily employed by Borusa's Barbarians in the months after Tankaa's departure. After this incident, he had Tankaa resurrected in a more...robust body.

I've finally solved the plating and detail problems for Ori, so this should hopefully be his last major rework this year. Looking at Pozas' art for the Bluespawn Godslayer really helped me make a breakthrough on Ori's design, since I just couldn't make up my mind on Ori's ventral plating. It's interesting to see how far the character has come over the past five years, going from a callous nameless, air-filled parody to the adorkable battledrake everyone knows and loves.
