The Substation Engineer is also a critical component of PremierPower's vegetation management system. Here's one manually removing weeds during a maintenance outage. There's only so much paperwork they can do after a few days of overtime.

Minimum height buswork will flash over if weeds in the substation yard grow sufficiently tall. It is also impossible to perform weed control operations in close proximity to it without scheduling an outage.
