For all these years while Buzhdu exists (about 7-8 years that is) I always drew him in pink/blue/purple colors. And I never tried black, but realized it only today and just HAD to try it out!
I think it's not worse than any other color.
Yes, his make-up is difficult and takes him a lot of time every day, but as deity, he has the time (and the skills).
Hair and body looks all wrong here, but face seems to be nice and I take it as a success :D
