Birds squawked and the waves rolled onto the sand while the sun set over the horizon. It was a serene setting, not a noise nor object out of place. Everyone had packed up and gone home, the car park was empty, and the tide was rising, resetting the messed up sand to a flat, untouched, soft blanket.

Daffodil sighed as she clung to the back of gum, she had just had the most wonderful afternoon of her life with the squeaky drake infront of her, a day of playing in the water and building sandcastles, childish shenanigans that made her feel younger. Her hazy daydreaming was interrupted as the dragon smiled and handed her one of two cones in his hand, chocolate mint from the ice cream bar that was just closing up for the night. She shivered and giggled as she gingerly licked at the treat. "brbrrr thats c-cold!" she laughed off. Daff gripped one of the handles on the pooltoy's back, straddling his enormous tail as she pointed the way forward with a dumb grin, the night was still young and there was more shenanigans to get into, and all with the handsome hunk of a draggy she was growing rather fond of.

It was only their first date, but the squeaky gard slept that night happier than she ever had been before. knowing that next time would be even better, especially when she plants a surprise kiss on his lips!

Daffodil was super keen to take big buff Gum on a date, turned out to be a beautiful time out at the beach with icecreams and watching the sunset <3
