Last year after I met and got to know one of my boyfriends long time friends who is now our roommate I drew a ferret on a strip of extra Bristol that I saved from one of my 2D design assignments. I finally sat down and colored it today. The bookmark is 10 1/8th inches long and 2 inches wide on one end. the other is just a smidgen over two inches. I thought it was perfectly straight until I put it in the scanner to scan it in. Sadly the Bristol got a little beat up between now and when I first sketched the ferret. I plan to laminate it once I find the sheets of lamination paper I have.

Done on Bristol with Crayola Color pencils, and Prismacolor color pencils. The background was done with Prismacolor marker.
This took about 5 hours to finish.
