This is one of my characters, Asthrys, that I made up a while ago (this sketch is also from a while ago, dusting it off!!). She is supposed to be an Egyptian ancestor of my main fursona, Astra. Wings of a Bennu Bird (aka Egyptian Phoenix) and descendant of the Cat Goddess Bast. So she's a little aristocratic (or aristoCATic.... hahahaha...oh.) and a tad snarky.

I just got a Linux OS and I've been messing around in GIMP (this is sort of my test piece because, honestly, it's my first time using it). For the most part it's like Photoshop, with some changes. Some things bother me - I can't seem to get the handle of the pen tool (I guess in this case, the "Paths" Tool), but I'll figure it out!

On that note, if any one has any advice using GIMP, I'll be glad to listen!!
