Digital version of the Concept Art for Axel Gear and Sparkster Sanjulo for the "Seirei Kishi-Dan" project MetalByakko and I are working on.

Sparkster Sanjulo's Biography:
"The hero of Kingdom Zephyrus. Sparkster was adopted by Mifune and is the current leader of the Rocket Knights. He's confident with a happy-go-lucky nature, but people that are close to him know his clumsy quirk. While taking his job as Rocket Knight serious and being slightly pushy in the early mornings, he likes to sleep in and is a literal "sleeping stone", and he can be quite sarcastic and verbal if his patience comes to an end. Nonetheless he cares about the people that are close to him and defeats his enemies without hesistance, even if he has to go to the extremes. He was send by the King of Zephyrus to investigate the magical anomalies all around Elhorn, a phenomenon that occurred many many centuries ago.

He is accompanied by Priscilla Diorta, Princess Sherry's former Handmaid and now personal Bodyguard, and will act as Sparkster's Bodyguard during said investigations; Axel Gear, a former Rocket Knight and childhood friend of his; and Armadur Maguerrero & Namid Sowaqwapoco, a team of mercenaries that agreed to help them on their investigation, as Armor serves as the group's Smith and Mechanic while Namid is a skilled herbalist and thus takes on the role as the Medic.

He has a friendly rivalry with Axel Gear, but thinks that Axel tends to act rather harsh and that his 'controlling' tendencies are the reason why he was denied the role of the next leader of the Rocket Knights."

Axel Gear's Biography:
"A young knight that works as a mercenary that travels around Elhorn: not only for work but also to satisfy his appetite for knowledge. Axel left Zephyrus after his training to become a knight was completed. However, due to a rough start as a mercenary "greenhorn" he agreed to aid Devligus Devotindos in the war against his homeland, as the Emperor promised him quite the sum. After he was defeated by Sparkster and managed to flee with some minor injuries he felt remorse and shame, and he made the decision to never participate in wars ever again: no matter how high the sum might be. Instead, he focused on visiting other kingdoms and villages to learn about their cultures and fighting techniques, while studying the mysteries of magic and their sources: the Holy Spirits. Despite him appearing calm and focused at his work he does have quite the temper and isn't afraid of telling others what's going through his mind. He also has a slight grudge against Mifune Sanjulo, as he is the cause of the large scar across his left cheek (which was an training accident). According to Axel he is 'disfigured for life' and literally explodes when people look at him weird or call him a "pretty" or "attractive" man.

Axel joined Sparkster's investigation team in the Kingdom of Eginasem after his audience with Princess Flora, as his need for writing down almost everything may help the group to get a better picture of the entire magical anomalies phenomenon all across Elhorn.

He sees Sparkster as a friendly rival and great training partner, but their perspectives on how to be a leader and handling missions clash rather often."
