I have the urge to redraw a few pictures of the past, and since Saphiria O'Hedge (girl in the original work) isn't a Multiverse Character anymore I decided to use my Quetzal girl, Rosalie Duskstar, for the redraw instead.

Here's a quick rundown of their past & relationship:
- The Past:
Rosalie Duskstar and Falco Lombardi studied at the Cornerian Flight Academy. Both of them were skilled pilots and developed a friendly rivalry between each other rather quickly, but this soon became a bitter one when Rosalie managed to destroy one of the canons on his Arwing during flight training and KOed him multiple times during their Close Combat training. Rosalie tried to reason with Falco, but he didn't care and soon after, Falco left the Cornerian Flight Academy. After graduation from the CFA, Rosalie decided to use her skills for mercenary works.

- The Present:
5 years after the defeat of Andross, Rosalie was sent to Planet Fortuna as part of a mercenary job to collect some samples from the creatures living on it. While wandering through the rainforest she came across another Arwing, only to feel a blaster pressed against the back of her head. She promptly used a shoulder-throw against the person threatening her only to be surprised seeing Falco in front of her. He tried to land a hit on her after getting up on his feet but quickly withdrew after Rosalie removed her helmet. They fell into a heavy argument but calmed down quick enough to discuss their business on Fortuna. They made an agreement to work together and share the reward even if the bitter feelings were still visible from Falco's side, but he had nothing to do and needed his 'thrills'. However, he was mostly just nagging around while Rosalie did all the work. Once they returned to Rosalie's client on Corneria they used the rest of the time to exchange everything that happened after the CFA. Rosalie offered him to team up with her which he first declined, but he changed his mind when she mentioned the higher amount of money they could rail in.

During the 3 years of working together, Rosalie and Falco put their differences aside and developed a close friendship. However, once both realized that they started to feel more than just friendship for each other they decided to go separate ways to not damage their friendship that they had. Falco decided to rejoin Team Star Fox while Rosalie continued her life as a mercenary. Despite this, they still keep in contact with each other and lose themselves in hours-long conversations, and it is apparent that the feelings for each other never ceased to exist.
