Mike Carroll by Kobi LaCroix

Mike Carroll

Kobi LaCroix

Another Bison Bros. employee

If there was one word to describe Mike, it would be "determined". He's such an intense workaholic that he had "infinity percent" tattooed on his neck. Unfortunately, this habit often led him to take on more work than he can handle. However, with now three times the energy, Mike can tackle all that work while barely breaking a sweat. He's a confident, charismatic, and most importantly, unselfish cougar; despite his fierce, competitive attitude, his ultimate ambition is to help others succeed.

Mike is also unusual in that he's both openly religious and openly gay. He's currently single and looking, because even though he can easily please himself, he finds it more fun to have a partner to share his gifts with.

The morning after Mike had used the infamous copier for the first time, he woke up and immediately sprang out of bed. He was up much earlier than usual, feeling several times more lively and upbeat than he'd ever felt before. And yet, something felt very strange. His vision was distorted, his view of the room bouncing from angle to angle, his mind flooding with sounds and images from all around him. His body felt at once very large, yet very light and free, as if it were a plastic doll that had been taken apart and scattered across the room. He sat up in his bed, puzzled, because he could have sworn he'd already gotten out of bed. Then he saw the back of another cougar, standing in the same spot he was just in. He turned around and found himself standing up in that same spot again, looking down at his bed. He saw the figures of two male cougars, one sitting on his haunches and the other lying on his back, propped up on his elbows. His eyes followed the form of one of those bodies until he reached the cougar's face and gasped as he suddenly locked eyes with himself. And then with himself. And then with himself. And then with himself. And then he passed out.

Still find the multibody concet fascinating. Are they each independent, but sharing senses/thoughts, or is this a sort of hive mind situation?

Hmm, I was thinking hive mind, but the other idea is interesting.

The vignette reads like a hive mind sort of, in that all three appear to be 'him', but its short enough that other setups could be possible as well.

I've always loved him. He's got a nice clean design, I've got a weakness for cougars and multiplicity is a great characteristic. Plus the vignette that goes with the picture is fun!
