Ah the elusive hipsterpus, a species of the amphibian subculture octopi. In its early stages it must stay completely submerged with it's brethren in a can of PBR, which provides nourishment and protection. As it matures, it squeezes through the hole in the top of the can, at which point, an amazing transformation occurs! As it continues to grow, its colours change to a more suitably vintage looking red and grey, while it's juvenile moustache develops into the more robust adult form. Having reached maturity, the males attempt to attract a mate by creating a nest made out of typewriters, albums of bands that no one has heard of, aged wood and trilbies, lined with soft ironic t-shirts, scarves and, of course a can of PBR to house future offspring
Now you can own one of these stunning creatures yourself! Wouldn't you like to give this wonderful specimen a home?
