The Great Species Identity Crisis of 2010 ended with me retiring my 11-year-old husky form in favor of a brand new coyote, but that only lasted eight months or so until Species Identity Crisis II happened. I had the idea for a rodent form of some sort, which eventually solidified into a white-throated woodrat, and this picture happened.

When I originally submitted this to FA, the description included this gem:

"I'm still a coyote. This is an alt. I see him as a sort of second-place B-side form for when I happen to be in squeakier moods. I don't expect him to be used nearly as often, but eight months ago I didn't expect him to exist at all, so who knows."

Who knows, indeed.
