In line with my other WoW submissions and RP related art, we have Jiang, the Onyx Cloud Serpent. He is Kit's companion and only friend for a good portion of the years that she spent in Pandaria after the timeline of Siege of Ogrimmar. An egg that was originally going to be destroyed, as it had been tainted by the Mogu(or it was believed), Kit offered to train and be responsible for the hatchling inside, even though it could end up being a monster. Upon it's hatching, the Order of the Cloud Serpent soon found that the baby was like all the other hatchlings and was put in the care of the newly initiated death knight. The two are now inseparable. He is also her only means of transport, having decided that the Deathcharger was too close to the past with the Lich King than she liked.

After getting my Reins of the Thundering Onyx Cloud Serpent from Huolon on Timeless Isle, I knew I had to draw a Cloud Serpent. It had to be done. I needed to do it. Well, this is the result. I absolutely LOVE how this turned out, even if the stupid amounts of detail is normally not my thing. It took.. I think around four hours total, from original sketch with no detail to the final product, but it was faster than I thought. I love these babies. <3 As far as Jiang goes in terms of mount design, he has a few minor differences. He has extra rings on the nose ring, extra bangles on his smaller horns, the saddle he has is also different in minor ways, mostly in the lanterns and wooden backing.
