I noticed this in the critiques wanted category. Would you like an opinion on this?

I see a lot of potential in this. for starters, you show a strong smugness in your persona in this image. You also use soft colors to make sure the eyes aren't too distracted and it helps you in the long run. With a stronger, realistic anatomy as well as some shading I can tell you that this could look like an actual visual novel profile for your character. I want to say also what I mean by anatomy is that the head is a little too large for the rest of his body. If he is an older character, I suggest making his hands a little bit larger, a la covering almost 1/2 of his face? As for knuckles, I struggle with this as well, but I want to add that adding three instead of two on each finger may help you as well. I also suggest adding ears to help confirm that this character is human.

I hope I don't come off as harsh, but I do have things I really like about it. That includes a male character with a stylistic hairstyle that can actually look plausible in real life, a character with an actual personality, and a softness to it that I admire. I also noticed that there is a reason for the pink flower in the background (a badge establishing your 'brand' if you will) and I hope to see more of that flower in the near future.
