I still love how this drawing turned out, I was planning on using this on the end cards of my monthly monster videos, but ended up using the Monster Horde drawing sense that series that that originally was supposed to be used for didn't work out an I realized this one didn't really work with how I ended up doing the monthly monster videos. Originally I was going to do rough concept sketches an then have people vote for there favorites but I ended up doing it in a way where people vote for an animal an then I monsterifiy it that way there just as surprised at the outcome as the public viewers (even though they do get to see it first) but everyone seems to enjoy the more surprise way of doing things so this drawing didn't fit the theme of how the videos ended up being sense these aren't solidly based on real animals at the core like the animal horde ones were which would have bugged the hell out of me XD (good example that green monster, even though he's my favorite, you can tell immediately that isn't anything based on reality.)
I am trying to figure out a way to do more Monster like monsters next year for the "new season" I just can't figure out how patrons would know what there voting on without seeing the concept sketch so they still get that nice surprise, but I have a lot of months yet to figure it out before the next season so in the mean time there's plenty of animals I still need to monsterify before this first season is finished!
