A continuation and reimagination of Transformers Animated; introducing new characters and plots. Featuring both old and new characters as well as the next generation of various characters.

This is my design for TFA Optimal Prime.
The Ancestor of Optimus Prime and original Leader of the Maximals. Optimal was thought long dead after having fought Megatronus (Magetron's ancestor) in a final confrontation to protect his fellow Maximals, being found later and revived. Optimal is still considered the Leader, though he has handed the reigns over to Sanctuary who had been taking care of the Maximals in his absence and feels she is a good fit for them, providing his own guidance when needed and still taking command when needed. He is a pretty peaceful and down to earth type of bot, rather resolve issues with words but will not hesitate to fight when needed. He does have a slight temper, which is mostly a side-effect from his organic half, but it's really hard to set him off at times. He still enjoys research and exploring, always fascinated by new discoveries. His alt. mode is that of a Silver-back Gorilla.
