I was part of an art contest and this picture tied for second place (Yey!) and I'm very proud of it.

I definitely need wing practice though but not bad for a first time, right? This entry for the contest was under the 'colour' category, and i wanted to see what Kiaki would look like with wings. I doubt she'll keep them but it's fun to imagine. I went back to my familiar 'pillow shading' but tried out a new 'night time' technique that I think worked well. I'll probably stick to that for a while to get some practice in. The background took almost as long as the character did! I blame the grass.
