started as a doodle, used several references for the trotting pose, but think I need some more help on it I'm actually happy with the legs on this, and in general, i think i'm more looking for help with the bird I think I want to use either a raven or a crow and scale is actually kinda right since Kes's feral form isn't supposed to be all that big since she's part fox. Not sure on the saddle bag itself but she's supposed to be delivering a message plus medicine so she would be in need for a pack of some sort.

and yes this generally how my tradtional sketches go, red pencil used rubber/kneaded eraser used to lighten lines as I rework the sketch before finalizing and either scanning into finish digitally or transfer for traditional finish. I still don't know if I'm going to do this digitally or traditionally
