So I finally did a bit more work on this track! I added drums, a vibrato, and the tom fills. I also added a bit of dirt and grit to the sound, to make it feel like it's coming out of an old distorting NES box. Yay!
There's one thing I'm missing, and that's the weird squeaky percussive dive sound that happens alongside some of the tom fills. I'm not sure how to produce that sound. If there are any NES Chip-tune aficionados out there who wanna explain that to me, I'm all ears!

heck yeah, you got the sound down really nice. also do you mean that downward glissando sort of sound? you could take some simple bass sine or 8bit bass sample and mess with the pitch to do that
