As for combat, it's pretty minimalist, tho some of the buff/debuff information is difficult to parse initially because it's so esoteric.
With regards to the joke above, theres no adspaces except the singular market location amd no server-wide shouts... this was something I can really relate to my Maplestory days.
I will say tho, where WF is really weak in the knees is a loooot of simple but very deep option menu trees that need some streamlining, definitely.
