Really does look awesome! A friend managed to get mine for me because the later ones were impossible to come by. I have all of the series one characters and all of the new characters from Giants (including a lot of variants). It's my guilty pleasure and I'm addicted to the collection, hahahah.

See, I don't have them all. Me and a friend have about half of the sets each. Money is an issue of course. But yeah, Wham Shell is the rarest of series 1, Ninjini for Series 2. We got both of those. ^^

That's probably the best way to go about it! I don't have anyone else who plays to share a collection between and I ended up liking and wanting all of them despite only originally choosing a few, hahahah. Well done on getting the rare ones! I think after Giants I'll probably stop collecting (not a fan of Swap Force right now and it's getting too expensive!).

Well you could always get Swap Force game (I am sure you can find just the disk somewhere) then go from there. Me and my friend already are splitting up the new Skylanders AND Swap-landers (as we call them). By splitting up, I mean saying "I want that one" from what we saw in the trailer. ^_^;

True, although the game needs a new portal thanks to how the new figures work. That's offputting in itself.
What I'm probably going to do, IF I decide to get into it, is to buy the figures when they're on offer (like 3 for 2 and stuff), and then buy the game when it's on the cheap (since I've seen Giants for half price).
I just don't like the character designs so much. Hoping they'll work them into the Skylanders storyline well!
