Bit of an accidental photo. I was out shooting with an ultra-wide lens, but at the same time I wanted to do a lens split. I figured I'd just use my hand, seeing as the split attachment doesn't fit, and I wasn't too willing to sacrifice a wider angle to use it. After multiple takes, I came to this one, covered half the lens, fired, flipped the camera, then covered the same half of the lens. The sun was going down at this point, and I just decided to expose the frame one last time, shooting the whole frame. Oddly enough, this particular frame, the one that gave me the most grief, and the most screwups, came out the best. The ones I succeeded in covering the right sides of the lens with my hand, however, ended up with 2/3 of the frame blacked out. Talk about happy accidents.
