"The She'kra are not timid creatures. They'll flutter around you, tempting you with their glamour yet you'd never get close enough touch. Their eyes say they know something, maybe a lot more than they should - but good luck getting one to speak to you! I've often seen them hiding high in the trees just watching and observing passerby. They find great fun surprising and scaring people. They'll choose an unsuspecting victim and swoop down from high, flaring their wings at the last second to scare the poor soul. When there's enough sun their scales will flash as well as they do this, hoping to add a bit of blinding sting to the person. Such showoffs haha! They scared your uncle once like this, almost peed his pants!"
