Belkas the lizardman druid and his faithful wolf companion, Venom.

He is an exiled lizardfolk due to his beliefs in Might not always making Right among his clan. Bested in single combat, he was forced to resign himself to a life of solitude in the swamp in which he lived. Being a crafty, capable reptile he was able to survive, though it is a life of loneliness for him, except for Venom who gives him reason to go on. He would gladly live the rest of his life alone with his pet and best friend, but adventure has a way of calling out to would be heros. Like it or not, he would find greater purpose, or it would find him.
