So...I decided to draw a really really really old character for this, because I really needed to a) practice shading colored characters [Topaz and Puzzle have spoiled me], and b) draw this old girl again.

For those of you who remember (there can't be more than 5 of you who have been around that long, goodness gracious), and for those of you who don't, this is Goldensun, my very first OC/fursona! She and Topaz are really the same character, I just kind of grew out of Goldensun for various reasons. I remember how hard it was to make the official switch to Topaz, but now, I couldn't be happier with her!

Anyways, I didn't decide I was going to draw Goldensun until after I'd done the lineart, hence the necklace and head-fuzz.

But, I really am happy with how this turned out! It was really hard to get the foreshortening and stuff right, but I'm proud of what I've got here

No, this isn't going to be a portfolio piece. I originally planned it out to be, but the way I finished it, I wouldn't put this in a college application.
